It’s also worth mentioning that our member, KinSea Lead Discovery, will be attending. KinSea Lead Discovery AS is a start-up platform company focused on developing marine bioactive compounds into pharmaceutically active products. To harness the full potential of marine natural products from the Arctic Ocean and bridge the gap between academia and industry, they aim to establish a drug discovery pipeline.
Their projects target therapeutic indications for cancers and other diseases with high, unmet clinical needs. With their first FLT3 inhibitor asset, which has successfully passed the animal proof-of-concept phase, they are developing a targeted therapy for hematologic diseases. Beyond this promising first asset, they also have a second asset in their pipeline. This new and proprietary chemistry, also based on marine bioactives, addresses another therapeutic indication.
